Jill Sammak, LCSW

Jill is an authentic, engaged, and expressive psychotherapist who brings warmth and humor to her work. She plays an active role with her clients by offering potential solutions and reframing perceptions of current circumstances.

In addition to her work as a psychotherapist, Jill has over 25 years of business experience from Fortune 50 firms to start-ups to nonprofits. This helps her to understand the challenges and stresses of navigating organizational structures and cultures. Her goals with her clients are to establish trust, provide a safe environment, and ultimately, to close the gap between what her clients want in their lives, and what they have.

Jill partners with adults and couples working through a myriad of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, issues of race and identity, relationship and family conflicts, and career challenges and transition. She approaches clients from a strengths-based perspective, believing that with support, they can find important answers in themselves.

Jill earned a Master of Social Work degree with a clinical concentration from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Science in business administration, cum laude, from Villanova University. She blends psychodynamic therapy with a cognitive behavioral approach.
