CE Course FAQs
Yes. The Midtown Practice is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s State Board for Psychology as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed psychologists (#PSY-0320), the State Board for Social Work as an approved provider for licensed social workers (#SW-0918), and the State Board for Mental Health Practitioners as an approved provider for licensed mental health counselors (#MHC-0358).
Our CE courses are designed for licensed psychologists, licensed social workers, and licensed mental health counselors in New York State. Clinicians outside these license types or states are welcome to attend, but should confirm with their own licensing board whether our courses will count toward their CE requirements.
Class frequency varies based on the course and the curriculum set by the facilitator. Please reference the specific course page for details on scheduling.
Yes, full attendance is required to receive CE credit for a course.

CE credits are awarded upon course completion. Depending on the course, you may need to complete a survey or form to receive your credit certificate.
In person classes are held at our office: 18 East 48th Street, Suites 1104 and/or 1202, between 5th and Madison Avenues. For virtual classes, you will be emailed a link after registering.
