Cliff Sobel

Cliff was moved to pursue a career as a therapist and business coach after an extensive  professional life in business. As a CEO and entrepreneur, he observed how the power of unconditional positive regard and appreciation of others brought out the best in his colleagues and employees. During his tenure in business, he gained the trust of his coworkers and became a confidant to employees and clients. This moved him to pursue a Mental Health Counseling Degree at Pace University, which he is expected to complete in the summer of 2025.

Cliff brings a unique set of skills to his role as a therapist and business coach. Previously, he founded and ran an e-learning company that he grew and sold. He built a livestream network and designed a digital sales aid that became an internationally leading program in the printing industry. He currently donates his time as a strategist at Project Healthy Minds, a nonprofit geared towards eliminating mental health stigma in Fortune 500 companies. Additionally, he serves on the Corporate Advisory Council at Bloomberg University’s Institute for Interactive Technologies and on the board of directors of the Harry Chapin Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the musician’s legacy.

Throughout his life, Cliff observed his greatest strength was developing strong relationships with friends, family, clients, and colleagues. This is foundational to his work with both therapy and coaching clients. As a therapist, his style is eclectic, drawing from psychodynamic therapy, existentialism, and several cognitive-behavioral approaches. As a coach, he uses his extensive life experience and training to help businesses optimize communication, leadership skills, team cohesion, and accountability to improve overall performance. This collaborative partnership becomes the bedrock for businesses to succeed and clients to lead happier, fulfilling, and more productive lives.
