Sophia is completing her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Brooklyn College, with a focus on evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She is interested in helping adults and adolescents navigate anxiety, perfectionism, self-esteem, relationship challenges, and achievement-related pressures.
Before entering the mental health field, Sophia trained and performed professionally in classical ballet, giving her firsthand understanding of high-pressure, performance-driven environments. That experience led her to found Ballet Hotline, a mental health coaching platform supporting dancers through the psychological demands of training and performance. Her clinical work includes 1:1 coaching with ballet dancers worldwide, sports-based private practice with athletes and dancers, and treating performance anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, and identity concerns. She maintains affiliations with Joffrey Ballet School in NYC and Dégagé Classical Dance in Texas.
Sophia takes a collaborative, strengths-based approach—helping clients build self-awareness, develop practical coping skills, and create a life that feels both successful and personally fulfilling.
