Danielle is a warm, compassionate therapist who prioritizes building a collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationship with her clients. She believes that a strong connection between therapist and client fosters growth, self-acceptance, and positive change. Recognizing that each individual has a unique history and motivation for seeking help, Danielle works closely with her clients to define their goals, expand their perspectives, and develop greater psychological flexibility. She views therapy as an ongoing process and prioritizes acknowledging progress while developing new coping strategies to address emerging challenges.

With 14 years of experience, Danielle has provided individual and group psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She specializes in trauma-focused therapy, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem, and self-perception challenges, as well as grief and transitions associated with significant milestones. She utilizes a combination of psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral approaches. Danielle listens attentively and approaches her work with an open mind, seeking to gain a deeper understanding of her client’s life experiences and providing insights into their patterns of thinking and behavior. Her nonjudgmental approach makes her skilled in working with individuals from diverse racial backgrounds and sexual orientations. Danielle is committed to providing identity-affirming treatment.

In addition to Danielle’s experience in treating the general conditions and symptoms described above, she is knowledgeable about parenting, co-parenting, and child development. She has a particular interest in supporting single mothers and parents of all backgrounds, including Single Mothers by Choice and women who are exploring various options for starting a family. She can provide assistance throughout the entire process, including to those considering the choice, pursuing fertility treatments, experiencing pregnancy, as well as navigating postpartum and child-rearing at all stages.

Danielle earned her Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Fordham University in 2009. For over a decade, she worked in schools, providing trauma-focused clinical services to children and their families. Most recently, she held the role of Senior Director of Social Work and Wellness at EHTP.
