Meet Elba Sette-Camara, LCSW-R
Therapist

Although we cannot always remove obstacles, we can develop resiliency and coping skills that help us navigate towards fulfillment. A strong element of Elba’s clinical practice is the concept of progress, not perfection, and honing personal strengths to achieve personal goals.
Are you overwhelmed by the challenges in your life? Elba Sette-Camara, LCSW-R is passionate about helping you address difficulties and develop solutions that are right for you. Anxiety, depression and problematic relationships can make you feel stuck and interfere with reaching your potential. Although we cannot always remove obstacles, we can develop resiliency and coping skills that help us navigate towards fulfillment. A strong element of Elba’s clinical practice is the concept of progress, not perfection, and honing personal strengths to achieve personal goals.
In her clinical work, Elba creates a safe therapeutic environment where thoughts and feeling are processed. Through cognitive therapy and mindfulness training, you will learn to strategically respond, rather than react, to stressors. Elba will work simultaneously to help you identify and develop adaptive coping mechanisms, and set reasonable boundaries in relationships. Through your work together, you will gain tools and real life solutions to create a satisfying personal and professional life. Using an eclectic therapeutic style which incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Elba will work with you to discover what’s keeping you from enjoying life. You CAN feel better and you CAN live the life you want.
